Twelve teams took to the ice on January 21st and 22nd hoping to win the title of “Pond Hockey Champs.” The Level One tournament was won by the Sons of Thunder, a team from the Metroplex Christian Hockey Association of Dallas, TX. The Urban Sasquatch of Creede/Denver placed 2nd.
The Level 2 tournament was won by The Pond Kings, returning for their 5th year and winning their first Championship! The Lumberjacks, made up of Forest Service employees, came in a close second and only lost by one goal in overtime.
