Fifteen teams took to the ice on January 15th and 16th hoping to win the title of “Pond Hockey Champs.” The Level One tournament was won by the N.Y.P.D. (Now You Pay Dearly) from the Denver area. The Dreadwings of Detroit placed 2nd for the second year in a row.
The Level 2 tournament was won by “KG & the Sunshine Band,” a team from the Metroplex Christian Hockey Association of Dallas, TX. The Pond Kings, returning for their 4th year, came in a close second, losing by one goal in overtime.
